Tai Hang Flat Renovation
This apartment renovation project - affectionately known in our design studio as the “Jewel Box” because of its diminutive size and exquisite details - transformed a compact space (only 470sf) into a stylish and luxurious oasis, showcasing a unique blend of functionality, comfort, and opulence. Our team of expert designers utilized every square inch of this small flat to create a space that exudes luxury and sophistication.
The main objective of the project was to maximize all the available room, but this didn’t mean that the home couldn’t also be luxe. We achieved the latter objective by incorporating high-end materials, exquisite finishes, and elegant furnishings. The project brief also noted that the interior design needed to function as a pied-a-terre in Hong Kong where the client could come to do work in peaceful surroundings, have intimate gatherings of colleagues and friends, and occasionally spend the night when she so desired. A tall order, perhaps, but a challenge that B Squared Design gladly accepted! The result of the combination of all of these details was a calming oasis within an urban setting that feels much larger than its 470sf size.
